Treasury Bills and Bonds are financial instruments issued by the Ministry of Finance of Albania on behalf of the Albanian Government. Treasury Bills are short-term securities with maturities up to one year, available in 3, 6, and 12-month terms in Albania. These securities are sold at a discount, with profit realized at the time of investment. Bonds have longer maturities, up to 20 years, with specific terms of 2, 3, 5, 7, 10, 15, and 20 years.They include a fixed or variable coupon paid every six months, and the nominal value is paid at maturity.
These securities are in an account registration form and have no physical format; investors receive a certificate of ownership. Raiffeisen Bank offers investment opportunities in Treasury Bills and Bonds in both primary and secondary markets, enabling clients to participate in these financial instruments issued by the Albanian Government. In the primary market, we facilitate participation in Treasury Bills and Bonds auctions, offering a simple and transparent process for clients.
