Raiffeisen Bank Albania, the bank that supports the installation of Photovoltaic Panels for the production of renewable electricity at Kamëz Agricultural University.

This is best demonstrated by the newest investment carried out in partnership with the Agricultural University of Tirana for the installation of photovoltaic panels for energy production, to create a percentage of sufficiency in coverage with renewable energy for the area of the Agricultural Institute.

The project, which will extend over 3 years, enabled the installation of solar panels with a power of 213 kwp, from the energy production of which about 40% of the value of the annual bill will be saved and 130 tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced in the atmosphere during 2023.

Present at the ceremony organized near the Agricultural University were the Rector of the Agricultural University, Mr. Fatbardh Sallaku, and the C.E.O. of Raiffeisen Bank Albania Mr. Christian Canacaris.

Mr. Canacaris says: "Most of our activity underlines the fact that we care for the long-term well-being of the community and the environment. The project of installing solar panels in cooperation with the Agricultural University is one of the largest projects concluded with the support of Raiffeisen Bank, but also the most innovative and with a measurable impact. Energy and the preservation of the environment are of great importance not only for the time we live in but above all for the future and what we will leave to generations. I compliment the rector and the staff of the University on the initiative to reduce the emission of carbon dioxide. We are committed to continuing investing in green technology"
